I looked it up and saw California +7 GMT right now and Pakistan and Turkey are -5 GMT. So Blizzard looking out for our friends in that part of the world!
Also seems like midnight server time might be when most raids are on the next to last boss after wiping six times. Probably riot if the server went down at midnight on any night…

I logged in halfway through that, not even knowing that maintenance was up…
It is not a 100% thing my dude. They just give a time-frame of when you can expect it to be out…

Realistically though maintenance especially extended ones are done with technicians on site, it would be expected that they would be done during the day as that is when their work hours are.
My guess would be because they would have to pay their tech crew more to work overnight.

I love RDR2, but man, the modders have really drove that game down IMO. Nothing like skinning a 3 star elk, just to have the skin vanish. Oh you got a 1 star deer? Time to take that hide too. Seriously getting annoying. Riding somewhere to do a bounty? Nah, going to teleport you to the top of the map. Ok… if that is how it is going to be, I will just log off.
Or having to deal with that one moron that is shooting up Valentine all day long.
What time zone? “Prime time” is around 5 pm - midnight for your relative time zone…assuming you play on a server consistent with where you are.
So you’d probably want to push it out at least a few hours from midnight.
