I went out to the Slave Pens in the Burning Crusade to finally get the Spell Fire Longsword from way back in 2006. I went out with 4 accounts with characters on follow to get the drop. I went with 2 warriors, a paladin and a death knight.
The appearance seems to have only attached to one character rather than account wide (these are all on the same license). I read something about transmogs being class specific. Okay so I check my other warriors – and they don’t have the transmog on any account.
Okay, so I traded the transmog to my Death Knight on Account #2. It said “Warning this appearance will be removed from your collection” I confirmed, now my DK on Account 2 can use the transmog. I then went to a DK on Account #1 AND another level 35 DK on Account 2 – and they don’t have it either.
The Spellfire Longsword seems to only be available to one character on one account?
Hi this isn’t the case with at least many transmogs. I play with 2 monitors and often when I loot a transmog, a notification will come up on my other monitor that the appearance has been added to my collection.
However, I can’t even use the transmog on the same class on the same license, both over level 35.
Hi the item is bind on pickup, but can be traded to any player in the instance for up to 4 hours. All four players are me on 4 licenses same Battle.Net Account.
If no one has said it yet, there’s often an internal timer on stuff like this. As long as it remains tradeable it isn’t really bound yet. This might be it? I dunno. Not exactly sure how to end this cooldown early. I think sticking it in void storage is one way? I just stick stuff I get from raids in the bank and then sell it a few days later when I think about it again.
Oh, never mind. Scrolled up one after posting and it seems you got it fixed already.
