A vendor popped up when i used Synchronous Thread. And bought the pattern for Robes of Arcana. I have all the stuff for it, and it requires tailoring 150 and im 167.
So im not sure why its not letting me craft it. Any help? Thanks
Perhaps the skill level required is for the basic classic 1-300 range. It looks like it’s an older recipe.
Those are classic recipes so level up the vanilla / classic tailoring to do it
Yes, the crafts now are divided into expansion ranges. Having a high level of one does not allow you to craft in others unless you have learned them and have the appropriate level of that one.
You need to train your Vanilla Tailoring skill for it, since it’s a Vanilla recipe.
Fortunately, the legacy categories of Tailoring are ludicrously cheap and easy to level: buy like 150 units of Linen Cloth and 100 units of Wool Cloth from the Auction House (it’s probably more than you actually need, but people generally don’t sell either cloth for steep prices anymore), get directions to the First Aid/Bandage Trainer, and make a bunch of bandages. You should easily hit 150 with that.
I might be wrong here, but it sounds like to me this person was able to learn the recipe, right? You can’t learn it unless you can make it. Something is worded funny or doesn’t add up.
They said they bought it. Not necessarily learnt it.
