Why can't I be in queue for a random Timewalking dungeon AND a random TWW dungeon at the same time?

Timewalking gives more XP but random TWW dungeons have much faster queue times. I’d like to be in queue for both and then take whichever one pops first without losing my place in line for the other. You can do this with PvP, LFR raid, basically every other LFG content. Why not with these dungeons?

double dungeon queues are weird.

queuing for Headless Horseman at the same time as chromie’s codex does weird stuff and the game wigs out. No estimated time in queue shows when queued for both.

right, but it’s totally possible to queue for multiple wings of LFR at the same time.

You screw with the priority assignment in the queue list. That’s why.

When you queue for all wings of LFR it happens.

You get into one, and by the time you’re finished, the next wings are instant back to back. That sounds great for you, but that is because the system held back a full group or pushed someone else to the back of the queue to give you priority.

While that doesn’t change dramatically in LFR because the raids are big and accommodate lots of people, in a 5-man setting it can mean that it pushes the waiting times a lot further. This aggravates more when it has to consider something you don’t do on LFR, which is to select specific dungeons to run as well.

If enough people are double queued, the system is in limbo, holding too many people on “priority list” waiting for you to finish the other dungeon, while pushing newer people to the back of the line.

If the dungeons were timed, it would be a different story, but a dungeon could be 10 mins or 30 mins depending on group.

EDIT: I am not claiming that it is impossible to do. I am saying, the current system in place doesn’t indicate that it would “improve” by doing that.
