I just started a new account two days ago and I cannot sell or buy anything in the AH or use the mail system. I have leveled to 16 and am out of space in my bags and the Bank. How can this be resolved?

wait 30 days. new accounts have AH and mail restrictions placed on them in sod for some reason.

Not a bug, accounts that are less than 30 days old cannot trade or use the AH. Maybe you can make a bank alt though?

From an EU Customer Service forum agent/blue:
To your question about how it can be resolved:
"This means that if this is your first time adding game time on your WoW account (and if the game time was added recently), you will not be able to trade with other players, use the auction house or in-game mails.
Once this period of 30 days has ended, the restrictions will be lifted automatically. If you’re still seeing restrictions after that however, you will need to log out of your account for at least 12 hours."

The above suggestion about using another character/s or bank alt might be the best bet for a temporary solution as Blizzard seems to be doing this to throw up a speedbump to slow RMT.
You’ve been sent to the shadow zone. There’s nothing you can do but accept your fate.
Blizzard refuses to actually police bots so they decided to punish new players for some reason.
We don’t know why.

blizzard is such a trash company theyd rather punish innocent players instead of banning the bots because of how much money they make from bot subs
