Please fix this Blizzard. I always liked Deep Gnomes in fantasy. Thanks.
Dark skinned…? It’s a gnome?
Gary Coleman wasn’t a gnome buddy, sorry
Throws lanet a gosh darn blanket
Because if I can’t be a deep gnome I chose to be the holy embodiment of gnomish light.
Because their skin had no need to take on that adaptation, given how they were created.
I thought they were grey. If talking d and d. if talking tolken they were red.
Don’t see why we cant have all the options.
I see Solaire, I hit the
I think that argument is a bit weak. What adaptive purpose does the green/pink/etc. hair color serve? And what would it hurt for Blizzard to offer a wider range of skin colors for every playable race?
I thought this thread was going to be something like:
Q: Why can’t gnomes be dark?
A: Because they can’t reach the switch to turn off the light!
Dark Gnomes are easy to get. It’s called “well done”. You just cook them longer.
Omg, such a missed opportunity on my part. Thank you for giving me a boost though.
Dying hair and genetic adaptation are quite different. What does it hurt for races to stay true to their biological/genetic origins? Not everything has to be pc.
Get out of here with that before you get my thread shut down. This isn’t about PC/Non PC. This is about deep gnomes.
Edit: Jokes are also welcome. All gnomes like jokes.
Did you read what I was responding to?
No. Im thread hopping too fast. Most just read the ones at the end.
I see no problem with adding a Deep Gnome even. Blizz already has various versions (Sub-races) of dwarves in WoW.
Bronzebeard = Mountain Dwarf
Wildhammer = Hill Dwarf
Dark Iron = Deep Dwarf/Duregar
How a race looked when it was first created is very different to how they look now. Dwarves used to made of stone. Now they are of flesh and blood. The reason their looks and special abilities vary is due to where they eventually established their homes. They evolved.
I could see an Allied Race of Deep Gnomes showing up. Simply a group that had broken off long ago and changed over time. Would it be something out of the blue? Sure. But it’s not any different than the addition of Void Elves.
You should probably start reading more then just one post to get context before you the contents of a post. Otherwise it just makes the topic seem more like your trolling.
And gnomes have never made homes in places where their skin would need to adapt to the sun.
