It fits the lore very much perfectly. Foxes are very in tune with nature. So are druids. That race/class combo actually makes more sense than just about any other race/class combo in the game
Too much fur confuses the transmorph spell.
I don’t remember anything about them being in tune with nature.
Mechagnome druids.
TBF though would have killed for Vulpera druids and Saberon druids just… Shapeshifting into night elves and worgen lol.
I think the simplest reason would be that it just takes a lot more work by the dev’s to give them druids then not. We got two new druid races this expansion and I think that is all they wanted to have to make.
So because foxes resemble animals and druids shift into animals, the lore supports vulpera druids? Because I’m not aware of any actual lore supporting this at all.
How? I haven’t seen them interact with Wild Gods.
Since when? They’re traveling nomads, but I haven’t seen anything that connects them to the Emerald Dream or Wild Gods.
Druids don’t just “like Nature.”
No it doesn’t.
Well, why aren’t Pandaren druids? They have Wild Gods, a deep appreciation for nature, and their society values balance and harmony, two traits Druids admire. I think it just comes down to Blizzard not wanting to do the extra work on forms.
What nature? They live in a desert. They’re like sand people.
Because they are already animals. Cute, little, cartoony animals. But still animals. Just like the Pandaren.
(edit: punctuation)
Ok, fox people can be druids. if you correctly tell me what the fox said >:|
man if I could be a cute lil fox druid I don’t think I would ever play anything else
We tried teaching them, but every time we shifted into a giant cat or bear they would run off!
The closest thing we are to being intune with nature is Kiros garden. Were roaming scavengers and pirates. Were fox people not foxes.
More importantly why can’t Night Elves be Paladins?
In the Lore Night Elf priestess’s are said to wear HEAVY armor and wade into battle personally to defend there allies.
Lore wise, it has to do with a connection to the emerald dream.
This is why I dislike kul tiran. They aren’t druids. Just playable druids. And I really don’t want the trend of races playing a class but not actually being that class to continue.
Have you seen voldunn? There’s hardly any nature out there
The Zandalari don’t have access to the Emerald Dream either though?
The same reason Pandaren can’t be druids. Not all furries are that dedicated to being furries it seems.
