Why can we STILL not queue for any random dungeon?

The excuse is that the story won’t make sense for new players? Cool, I’m not a new player though? Why not let me do it?

What do you mean? You can queue for both random dungeons and specific ones.

When levelling you can only choose a specific expansion’s dungeons to queue for.

Probably because its harder to match people for 50 dungeons vs a single expansions worth. So you are probably on a server where if youre in bfa Chromie time, it is more efficient to just offer bfa dungeons for those in that instance than ti just do a free for all with dungeons.

Yeah but after like 8 minutes of searching a popup shows up saying ‘do you want to queue for all dungeons since your queue is taking a while’ so the functionality literally already exists…

Blizzard overlooked that detail. Soon TM! Blizzard soon you know? Like in 4-5 years maybe. Glad someone else noticed.

Honestly I think this is a good idea. Put all the dungeons in the rotation for leveling.

Because Blizzard can’t get scaling right between all of these levels. So they keep it within 10 levels of scaling for each expansion.

They’d have to split it into more queues, I suppose. I choose specific expansions for specific dungeons. So I’d like that to continue. Then they’d have to make a queue for everything for everyone else that wants thst option, as well.

I’m not saying they can’t. Just saying what they should do for options. Because I’d never run another dungeon again if I had to go into the random “all” queue. lol

But this literally exists already… If you queue eclipses a certain time limit it queues you for all dungeons, I’m asking why we cant do this by default.

My guess, and it’s just a guess as I have no actual idea. lol

For new/newish players it makes sense to keep them in the current content, so dungeons for that content. Some of which are required to complete the content. Less confusing.

However, if it’s taking too long, if the queue is too long, then they go ahead and open it for all dungeons. As, apparently, there isn’t much action in your area player/dungeon wise. So ok, here you go, here are some other dungeons you can do.
