Isn’t it time that we are able to use a shield and spear, it is a combo heavily used throughout history and fantasy so we has this combo evaded WoW for so long?

There simply aren’t any one handed pole arms. They’d have to implement a new weapon classification to make this happen

Only Fury Warriors have titan’s grip and they can’t use shields. I’m definitely not against being able to use shield and spear but I can see why it hasn’t been done yet.

i mean they have all these new playable races and animations, this seems like it would be easier to implement than some of the other stuff is there a 1 handed weapon that looks like a spear maybe?

bring back gladiator stance and attach a pseudo titans grip that lets them use a 2h weapon in their MH and shield offhand.

I used a tankazon build with one of them, with shield and javelins: AWESOME tanking abilities! Even had some good ranged effects (something this game’s tanks are sadly lacking) but those were secondary concern.
Wonderful class; so versatile!

They would basically need to make a new weapon type and animations.
A polearm using the 1-hand animations looks weird. Also the grip positioning is off for a spear weapon. It would be something cool to add if they ever made a gladiator spec for warriors

I think a spear and shield would be a great idea and choice for a Troll (both races). Would totally fit their lore.
