I used to be able to simply see on the end of mobs nameplate their level without having to mouseover or target them. The new ui has no setting to do this presently. Is anyone else being really annoyed or missing this feature. If so I’m hoping this thread blows up and Blizzard recodes it to show on the floating health bars.
Do you have enemy nameplates set to always on, or on in combat?
In settings, that is referred to as the nameplate.
Yeah, internally that’s called a nameplate.
You want to check Options → Interface → Nameplates → Always Show Nameplates, and make sure that is checked.
This is with the current ui, I’m referring to the nameplate above the target

This was the ui Before prepatch

the Plater addon, as well as many other addons i have tried, does not bring the level back to the nameplate. I do have them set as always on and not just in combat.
That is called the nameplate.
As far as making the level show, I do think that’s something Blizzard has changed. I’m not at home to check but I have not seen any settings specifically related to this part of the nameplate.
I run Plater anyway, they’re way superior and have way more options to make the nameplates (the floating bars, lmao) look exactly the way you want them to look.
Yeah it’s sad that such a basic and convenient feature was removed. Worse so is the fact that there isn’t a Nameplate mod that brings it back. ![]()
