The soak M+ affix this week is just an instant wipe on certain bosses/scenarios. I only recently started doing M+ 10s and noticed this once my gear caught up to my friends and we’re doing content that’s gear appropriate. This is very demoralizing and none of my friends and anyone we pugged with literally said they’re doing the bare minimum then taking the week off. Can this affix be redesigned please?
The name of the affix in question is Xal’atath’s bargain: Oblivion. at this point I feel like doing a 12 would be easier than a 10 this week, or least it’d feel more like my gameplay mattered. With Oblivion, I feel like I have to get lucky.

Because they don’t know what they are doing. The leech buff is so pitiful from the affix it doesn’t even matter, yet bosses and trash get a stacking 10% damage buff that can destroy the entire group.

I was in a CoT+10 and we wiped cause the last boss got 7 stacks. They all were confused at why we wiped and thought it was just a crazy mechanic overlap. I had to explain what happened lol.
That happened to me too, CoT last boss had affix during the beetle stomp, but it also happened a few weeks ago in Stonevault robot/dwarf boss.
It ruins the entire week of playing the game, please remove this garbage affix blizzard.
The soak affix is a bit much when you’re doing mechanics and/or half the room is covered in stuff. On my tank I have to move all the bosses with extra leeway with taking the orbs into account.
