Right now players can /flirt, /massage, /moan, /hug etc without your consent. This only promotes sexual harassment as people will think they can go on to do these things in real life because Blizzard lets them believe they can get away with it in game, if it’s not okay in real life then it’s not okay to do in game. Blizzard MUST prove they are committed to promoting a safe environment for females, and one free of sexual harassment by requiring the targeted player to give consent in order for the emote to work. Not doing so shows that Blizzard has not learned anything from the public backlash, and from its own employees.

Sad that you think it’s trolling to not want to be hugged, massaged, and flirted with without consent. This is the exact line of thinking that results in sexual harassment.
Your post history suggests that this is just another sad attempt at creating controversy on the forums.

Bait out of bait.
It’s not great, mate.
Obvious troll is bad. 0/10 on this
Only troll here is you and everyone else against the idea. People should not be made to feel uncomfortable in a video game, and allowing these suggestive emotes to be used on people without consent is a gateway to sexual harassment.
Def weak bait. You provided your consent by clicking ‘agree’ at install.
Existing does not mean you give consent to be sexually harassed.
it’s an emote in game. actual snowflake. enjoy existing on food stamps because you cant go outside or interact with people

Stop being misogynistic, you’re looking for excuses to make players feel uncomfortable by performing sexually suggestive emotes on them without their consent.
nailed it!

Booping a Vulpera without Prior consent is crimes.
I agree with you OP. I dont like to be messaged or emoted upon unless I know the person (and sometimes not even then…)
Just glad I can auto decline all duels too
So you go through World of Warcraft and don’t interact with anyone unless you know them prior to WoW?
Do you not meet new people? Never do grouped content?
If you join a guild with friends and there are people who you don’t know, do you quit the guild?
This seems like a very difficult task for navigating this game you’ve set up for yourself.
Are you like the OP though that feels personally slighted? Can you not sleep at night too?
You know back in my day when people were offended by something they stopped consuming it. This OP though is offended by everything, so we should change it all to suit that ONE person right?
Get a life, and don’t play if emotes bother you. It’s really that simple. When did the people of the world decide that a vocal minority gets to make all the decisions?
It’s sad.
ROFL I have been playing MMORPGs since 1999 and I have always limited who I interacted with. For most of those years, I was lucky enough to be surrounded by people I work with who played and had my pick of guilds to join.
If you join a guild and there are folks you don’t know from work, what happens?
Do you use your work friend as an intermediary? Since you said you dislike interacting with folks you don’t know?
