Why can Hunters not tame Brutosaurs or Ferrets?

Yes, I know, not a Hunter, but something that bugged me is we finally found ferrets in game and they’re not tameable.

And Brutosaurs are not tameable? I could understand if they were exotics, but why not? I would happily roll around with a Pygmy Brutosaur or two at my side.

There just seems to be this weird “You can’t have this cool thing.” vibe with Blizzard that just can’t be shaken, no matter how many disasters and scandals happen. Why not let there be some sort of hidden taming method like with the Direhorns from Pandaria, the Undead Pets from Shadowlands and the Mutant Frogspawn from Battle for Azeroth? It just seems so damn weird to me that cool dinosaurs and mutha-luvin’ ferrets exist and yet weren’t immediately added to the potential roster here.

Same with the Lion Seals, the golem-like bat-flayers, and the stilt-legged deer that roam in Zaralek and Southeastern Ringing Deeps.

There’s loads of missed opportunities for us to have really cool pets, but Blizz refuses to capitulate.

Seriously. They should roll direhorns and brutosaurs (and any other non-devlsaur dinos they might eventually add) together into a “primordials” family.

I think having two Brutosaurs in a M+ group fighting in a small enclosed space would be VERY annoying.

I think you don’t like fun.

I’m gonna go out on a limb here and assume they’d shrink down in size, the same as Devilsaurs, Direhorns, Mammoths, Magmoths, Lesser Dragonkin, Core Hounds, Hydras, Chimeras and other Case-Oh sized Pets do once tamed.

I sooo want the Brutosaurs! Even if they got shrunk down. They are such awesome art models.
