Why call lust or hero? Why not say the actual spell?

I was screaming for LUST to my spouse in a pug for giggles (since we have no idea what it is). He goes “I have tigerlust, is that it?!” and yeah it’s not lol

I often find myself saying:

“LUST HERO TIMEWARP ANCIENT HYSTERIA SOMETHING!”

a few times before anyone does any of them

Idk what lust or hero is.
I just say Blahalalalalalalala and I get a lot of haste.

Because they are all the same exact affect, Bloodlust is the original (Horde shaman), though Heroism Alliance name has also been around since BC.

So anyone that has played since any expansion before they started adding them to other classes easily knows what calling for either means, either from playing prior, or the fact everyone still calls the affect by what it has been since Vanilla/BC for ease of use.

As can be seen in this thread, many people don’t even know what all the new bloodlust/heroism abilities are called, so in the heat of the moment hoping you know the right name for the ‘insert-class-here’ bloodlust/heroism button is called, and the others in the group do, is silly when everyone knows Bloodlust or Heroism as the effect has been since Vanilla.

Because it’s lust.
