Sigh, I like the monk class design in general, but the 1 shot every expansion is a little head scratching.
The last expansion’s spinning 1 shot, monk just got buffed now with this BROKEN damage, see
why …why design the game to have 1 shot or zug on every other melee class… how is it fun for the game in general?
Looks the same as every class… Hunters burst as hard and fast. Wars MS me for 150k. followed by mutli 30k+ hits into another 100k ms or excute. Locks 100k+ bolt conflat and burns. Shamans 100k+ hits in globals. Pala make that look weak their burst is even higher. Ferals mutli dots Frenzy and a FB hittting at same time is 100k+ also. Little flying dragon dudes can hit TWO peeps at same time for that hard. Nothing new to see here its the state of the game.
Meanwhile without tier on my ww and i cant say its much fun… since youncan never stay in the fight, unless you wana die, and your 1min goes dont kill until late damp.
literally any dps class in the game right now except maybe enh can kill someone in a 6 second window just like this monk did.
popping every single offensive cd, proccing 3 modifiers and hitting a leather target who isn’t getting healed and who has 0 defensives up, obviously they will get obliterated.

Utility is okay.
So we have an AoE stun, I don’t see the issue since its not a ranged stun.
Our self healing is abysmal. Makes WoG look like lay on hands.
Our mobility is good but that counteracts our garbage defensives. Only defensive we have worth anything is diffuse magic.
Why would that matter? Sets are enabled in PvP, so regardless if a player uses it or not, it still doesn’t dismiss the fact that they can be used in rated; and that fact that Blizzard lacked the foresight to tweak the numbers to reflect set bonuses.
Blizzard can either:
Disable all set bonuses in PvP
Actually make PvP set bonuses
Also, the catalyst thing releases next week. Should make it a tiny bit easier to get set pieces.
