The difficulty is weird in these things.
Fight going on for 20 seconds with barely any damage and suddenly your getting chunked for 80% of your health for no visible reason. Survive it and heal up and back to barely any damage.

I wouldn’t say they are hard or easy. I will say regular mobs (non elites) in those things are damage sponges.

Blizz has been pretty forthcoming with delve changes, so I’m gonna need to see some more evidence before I believe that delves were made more difficult.

I believe Delve buffs are warranted though. I’m mindlessly clearing Tier 8’s without dying a single time. I think having a Tanking pet trivializes a lot of the content, though.
Maybe you’re doing a Story variant you’ve not done yet so there’s new stuff?

This seems most likely, especially considering some of the variants are notably more difficult than others.
Just did 2 delves, I didn’t notice anything different other than some weird “out of nowhere” damage hits. Except…
AFTER the last delve was finished, I was entering the treasure room and as I entered, I was hit by something for 3/4 of my health, this was WAY after all combat ended and there was nothing in the combat log to explain it.
I dunno, but seeing a lot more “phantom damage” spikes lately.

I don’t mind harder mechanics but I can do without the randomized health chunking that brings me from 100% to 2% without warning.

Most people I know. I mean… I was soloing 8s at ilevel 587. That really should’ve been more difficult to do. Especially at such a low ilevel.
Not to mention how easy they are for groups.

I mean I been doing them solo on very low toons for tier 8.s A 567 prot paladon, a 580 disc priest, I think this lock was like 578 when she did her first. They been very easy for me
