It solves all the problems most people have with the boost as a whole And all the problems that the boost will bring for the most part.
The boost is beneficial to bodder’s
People make an argument you don’t get to learn your class when you boost
You don’t have to play the game to gets to 60
Those are all the arguments I hear the most of
OK now let’s look at BOA gear You still have to play a game but you’re just gonna go through it a lot faster but it’s not just you press a button and you get 58.
When you’re playing through the game you have a chance to run into people and there’s a good chance a lot of people will be leveling with you and if the goal it really is to catch you up your friends they can always make an alt unless they have no character slots left.
On top of that this souls not having you gear for 60 because the BOA gear is good for the level you’re always going to have a piece of good gear for the level on top of that as a side note it makes really good Twink gear.
And it’s badd for bots over all because the value is placed on the account if that account gets banned then the botter is losing more than it’s gaining more than if it was just one character.
On top of that this also allows you to level your blood elf and drain IA lot faster and on top of that it also discouraged people from buying boost from mages.
And even if you do it goes a lot faster and there’s a really good chance by killing stuff faster because the quest items do get buffed you’re not going to need those item say you’re going to sell them and acquire money for your mount.
A whole lot easier Even more beneficial is the fact it’s BOA so if you ever go to another server you can still level a lot faster on another server.
This is why I say over all I think BOA gear would be a lot better than just one boost A kind of solves most of players problems with the boost and I think would provide a much better experience for returning players and new players coming to the burning crusade.
OK 1st off let me clarify I don’t care about the post it doesn’t bother me however a lot of people do.
And I see more posts on that more than any thing else the reason I keep throwing my hat in the ring is because that’s all I see people post about and I think there are other things that we need to focus on.
And for the record no there was no part of BOA gear that came out before wrath of the lich king.
The only thing I am concerned about is the bots because it’s going to get way worse I think with the boast
And I explain my reasons already and I think there are good ones let alone again I think unlike the boost this can be more beneficial to the playerbase as a whole.
When boa came out it was, I believe, 2 pieces of armor and some weapons, and it was account and server bound. I still have a toon who’s bank served as a repository for the boa gear for that server. For me, personally, I’d prefer to let boa wait till wrath classic.
I’ve no horse in this race but one issue I’d have is BoA gear is typically absurdly overpowered, game breakingly so for other party members. If we kept the power level similar to blue gear it could fit quite well I think.
I think it’s been long enough for players to not remember when BoA gear came out. So let me inform everyone that you won’t like it if they add the OG BoA gear back into the game. They were essentially lvl 1 epics and scaled higher than dungeon blues from lvl 1-79 when they came out in wotlk.
If I’m going to do something I’m going to do it right and At the very least I’m trying to give alternatives because it’s very clear a lot of people don’t like it so I’m just trying to give an alternative.
That I think would be better for the playerbase over all
