Why is it now that neither vanish or blind “grey” out on the task bar once you are out of reagents. For over 15 years it was always greyed out if you lacked blinding powder/flash powder… but no. Now its always colorful and I usually realize im out of the ingredient when I need to use the ability which results in either death or failure to perform a combo.
This client is so awful.

Why? Why do i need another useless addon if they could just keep the original in? What is so hard to just grey it out? If you can not use it. Why was this changed at all? Im 100% certain during my lvling period it worked just fine.

How is it useless if it’s serving a function not covered by the default UI?
Because this wasn’t the default UI that was there in vanilla, this is a new part of the UI they could fix to actually be vanilla like.
Wait wait wait. There’s an addon to track how many reagents you have? Wouldn’t it be quicker to press “b” and just look before you wander from town?!
Your thread title shouldn’t be “why blizzard?” It should be “I failed to keep track of one of the most simple and basic aspects of game play for my class and I feel bad”
Who gives a crap if the icon didn’t turn a different color? That is something you should know.
That’s like… going to drive your car without knowing / checking how much gas is in the tank and then blaming Dodge or Chevy because you’re now stuck on the side of the road.

What an absolute sook. You literally can’t go a day without finding something to cry about. Manage your resources better. I bet you bottom dollar you have no idea how to manage your finances either.
No thats the whole point. Even in vanilla, the icon greyed out if you did not have the reagent. This is not vanilla, this is a new classic/legion abomination thing
Edit: people think thats just another cry post about vanilla. But in vanilla this was not an issue. It just greyed out if you lacked the resources. Now it does not. Ever since the last 2-3 patches it just stopped greying out for no reason.
Its awful and not needed and all it does is make the managment of my reagents a pain. And I want to say it again: This was not in vanilla.
And yes you could say: well just learn to manage your resources better, but for 15 years i have been used to the original system (where abilities grey out!) and now it changes for absolutely no reason. Hence the title: Why blizzard?
By chance are you running a bar addon or elv ui, or well any addons? Haven’t checked this on my rogue but it works on my mage. So im just wondering if you have something else going on here?
