Why Blizzard won't show proof of why you have been suspended or banned

I heard from a friend that if you spend around $500,000 biannually on shop services, you can earn qualified immunity from suspension.

I used to play on ED where there were guilds who mass reported enemy players as reprisal for WPVP.

Yeah, this is the flip side to my point earlier.

A lot of folks forget about consequences online, and think they can just do whatever to whoever and never be called out on it.

The Dumpster Lawds who go after everyone and everyone might not realise who exactly got them banned, but the actual freaks who laser in on minorities, genders or political opinions they don’t like and use the ‘anonymity’ of the internet to do stuff in real life that would have them passing teeth?

Imagine that fragile an ego suddenly getting slapped down because of something they did to you. They’re not gonna change their ways, they’re just gonna double down and figure out ways to up that harassment while avoiding punishment, and now they’re hyper-fixated on this one, single person or group.

I could argue that Blizzard could just leave it generic, but that’s putting too much faith in underpaid and overworked staff, or the cheapest AI/Bot that Acti-Blizz/MicroBlizz could find to do the right thing. As bad as the current system is, it is the best of a series of bad options on the table.

Experiencing that after years of playing WoW really was horrible.

My best memory was a WPvP 1v1 opportunity I had on ED with my Warrior. The poor hordie mage couldn’t deal with it and actually logged into their Alliance toon just to send hate whispers. I have never laughed so hard in my gaming experiences.

Love WrA! Stay frosty! And save the Menethil Harbor clock tower!

I wasn’t going to say it, but I was thinking it.
