Bfa had
This has to be satire
This my geninue opinion, feel free to disagee.
BFA isn’t nearly as bad as people claim, but no. It isn’t even close to as good as WotLK and certainly not better.
BFA was way better than Wotlk, for example the Villain was better written.
Only because of the newer graphics and engine
Also most of Nyalotha is hideous
lmao no
lmao no
Wrath was king of nostalgia, it was the end of WCIII
Wasted Nazjatar on a patch, started the ruination of Sylvanas and turned Magni into a WOOOONZ joke.
Again, better engine and graphics so that’s a wash
You said this twice
? That was one of the main issues with BFA. Which villain? Azshara who had one of the worst boss fights in history? Horde or Alliance where we stopped fighting in a faction conflict expack in 2 patches? Or N’Zoth which is the biggest example of wasted potential where he should have had his own expack but was 1 single patch?
Oh I had to edit because I completely forgot about the first tier entirely, G’Huun is very forgettable.
In terms of end game content: BFA by a mile.
Class design was better than wrath, but everything in BFA just felt like a lesser version of what it was in Legion.
The big problem with BFA was how hard it shot itself in the foot with mandatory grinds (something which wrath managed to mostly avoid, only really having Sons of Hodir)
“Amazing. Every word you just said… was wrong.” - Luke skywalker.
Someone never did the Crusader Bridenbrad questline and it shows
BFA was kind of the high water mark for armor design. It gets no credit for that, though.
It’s not, end of story.
When opinion goes against facts. Really should have just said you like BFA more than WotLK.
Arthas was the best villain they ever had. He was a true Shakespearean tragic hero who when faced with two impossible choices lost his humanity by picking one.
They don’t write villains like that any more.
This I will agree with. The rest is the result of too little sleep or insanity.
One of my all time favourite GIFs.
And 100% accurate here.
Obvious bait is obvious.
Fair, but mostly due to the age of WotLK.
And the Arathi Warfront plate set was an instant classic.
Eh… EXTREMELY low bar for both, with BfA having some critical “Villain Sue” and “Creator’s Pet” issues.
You’re… joking, right? The UNLISTED video that was mocked for being a LotR ending knock-off the moment it was released?
See above “Villain Sue” and “Creator’s Pet” issues.
… you can’t be serious.
No. Just… no.
I was missing Artifacts from the start, not to mention losing the Legendary effects from Legion gear halfway through the leveling. Then there was the horrid sham that was Azerite gear to “replace” them, and let’s not forget that upgrades caused you to lose traits because the damned necklace needed to be leveled up to unlock traits you already had on lower ilvl gear.
… yeah, this is getting dumb.
Skipping over the rest of the BS, this is the ONE thing I’ll give BfA credit for… but it’s also something of a problem, as the only half-decent part of BfA’s story was Saurfang’s character arc.
Which was the focus of the cinematics.
And 99% of it was OUTSIDE the actual game experience.
So yes, better cinematics.
Shame it feels like it was cut out of the game to make those cinematics happen.
