You see the night elves didn’t allow the Orcs to harvest some lumber they really needed for buildings in Durotar. So the Orcs just took it anway because after Kul Tiras destroyed their only forest on their own lands they had always lacked any good resources too. So the Warsong Clan really did nothing wrong and the night elves need to stop being so greedy when it comes to that massive forest where there is enough space for both sides to be happy.
Alright that is it I wanted to say, have a nice day.
There’s a far easier explanation. The elves had no business squatting on lands that rightfully belong to the Orcs. Sure the elves were born there, but after the Orcs conquered Kalamdor they had to move out.
It wasn’t shown in-game but in the novels, the Night Elves pushed the Horde back out.
Orcs don’t need lumber, they make all their buildings out of poo.

I don’t know about Ashenvale, but as far as I’m concerned Teldrassil didn’t burn quick enough.
I know but the warsong are still in the region according to the Exploring Azeroth book series. Because every civilization needs lumber to build stuff.
I feel it says something about Thrall that he made his people live in an inhospitable desert that lacks natural resources (which he named after his father) to punish them for what they did while corrupted/controlled by demons.
That’s kinda messed up isn’t it?
Yes and many players have attacked Thrall for this before because he chose to make the life of all Orcs miserable on intent.
The Horde have no business in Ashenvale.

Sorry but you need to share.
I mean… that is the way the Horde rationalize things, yes. It is the pea sized brains that are the problem.

the Horde doesn’t have resources. So we just take what we need after night elves showed us how evil they are.
Wasn’t resources the primary reason Garrosh invaded Pandaria?
The Horde needed more territory in order to survive, it’s even stated in the Orc intro that Durotar is running out of resources. After BFA I think they lost most of the territorial gains so unless they’re importing lumber from Zuldazar that isn’t shown in game it feels like they should be completely starved for resources at this point.
Mulgore’s trees were probably all cut to build that wall to keep the invading alliance out!
“We need more lumber” so we can “build more burrows!”
Mulgore is a rich land and that is the main problem ever since the Orcs settled on the east coast. Like all fresh water and grain they get come from the Tauren.
