So, classic has been out almost a year now, we’re at BWL content which is on full clear by most guilds on most servers and I’m sure AQ40 isn’t too far away…
If you’re a new player and say you just leveled up a 60 warrior, what exactly are you expected to do?
I leveled up fishing / cooking / herb / alchemy just to try and grind some gold… Nothing sells, nothing… At least nothing that doesn’t require a group to get to…
Trying to grind cathedral in all greens is beyond painful, I can barely clear it if I pull two at a time, and I have to eat every other pull or so. I’m getting a clear about once every 45 mins if I’m really on top of it, and I’m netting about 15 gold a run? Really?
I can’t get groups because lelz nub u sux… Joining a guild or two didn’t help, welcome to everyone is already decked and not running dungeons or are in nice little clicks like always.
The only way someone can even catch up now is to buy there way in… As someone who makes good money and works a lot, it’s a fantastic option for me to be able to actually get caught up.
Why do you think tokens are bad?
Imo, the people who argue against tokens don’t want them because they want to have a power imbalance, in their favor. They want the extra time invested to be able to be lorded over those who didn’t put the time in. Which makes them gigantic hypocrites because that’s the exact thing they’re trying to avoid by people who can “pay-to-win”.
It’s not pay-to-win if you’re buying the same damn gear the majority of the players already have.
Those who can’t afford to buy tokens, and haven’t been able to put the time in, have no recourse and they’re better off just not playing. How is that better for the community? Isn’t it better if more people can play on a level playing field so that competition and participation in raids is more abundant?
What are your thoughts?
