Since Blizzard is trying to be more inclusive, why are there no disabled characters? Tens of millions of people around the world have disabilities and yet there are no disabled characters in the story line… The disabled community deserves to be represented equally.
This isn’t Sunday.
Plenty roam Oribos as is, we don’t need NPC’s.
There is a whole allied race around them, they are called Mechagnomes.
Demon Hunters are blind, isn’t that a disability? Hell, I have an eyepatch. Just call me a black scottish cyclops.
Ah, you’re one of THOSE people, huh? More unnecessary advocation in a video game with a purpose to have fun, nope, we need representation instead.
This would actually sync in well to WOW. Could totally see Goblin/Gnome in a wheelchair tinkering up some sort of nifty device to blow badguys up.
Isn’t Drek’thar in a wheelchair?
Paladins and DK’s…am I a joke to you?
You think you’re funny but that is very offensive to people with disabilities.
Can you stop?
Begone furry! Jk jk
I would really like them to include someone like Toph Beifong from Avatar the Last Airbender or Professor X from X-Men. Like, they are both disabled but that doesn’t hinder them, in fact, it strengthens them. Toph was truly an inspiration to my blind friend.
Do you just want characters that align with a certain group for the sake of having characters that align with a certain group, or do you want characters that make sense and fit that bill?
There was literally a raid boss in Cataclysm that was blind and the entire fight was designed around how he attempts to find and kill players he cannot see. Shriekwing follows a similar gimmick in Nathria.
Demon Hunters literally gouged their eyes out.
Forsaken Undead are literally missing pieces of their bodies.
You can customize characters to have them be partially-blind.
Kargath Bladefist literally removed one of his forearms, DCAU Aquaman style. And in the main Warcraft universe he removed both.
Drek’thar is literally blind in our main timeline.
Yes yes, I know; being real, we do have some existing NPC’s that have a variety of disabilities though.
Visually impaired, plenty of injured / beat up soldiers, wander the barracks of SW and you can find folks that sound like they have PTSD.
The game doesn’t need to be a constant reminder of things in the real world.
Does that gnome leader count? He’s in some life support suit, right?
There’s also a blind maghar around somewhere
mecha gnomes
Just roleplay one if you are so inclined.
The fact you associate me with furries for a character I play already doesn’t make you look great. I could call for more furry races to place but I’m not that typical and annoying. Troll elsewhere. We already have disabled people in this game, just you’re not looking hard enough.
It was obviously a joke relax bud
