Why aren't player character profiles updating?

It’s been four or so days and my character has changed gear twice and it’s not updating. Did 9.0.5 break something?

Heck it’s been slow even before that

I think I’ve read if you log out and back in it forces it to update.

Nada. Cuz I did that hours ago. Not updating

I think it’s just slow occasionally, I can have my avatar update instantly with logout or maybe 4 days later next time. There never seems to be a set time or pattern.

Sometimes the appearance isn’t even right within the game on the character selection menu now, will take a few log ins before my appearance matches in game…

Stuffs just confused.

I just logged out to check it. It was still showing me as level 55 but I got 56 the other day. It forced it to update and it showing me as 56 now.

I swear every time I log out I get stuck in a stupid endless login endless cycle with the authenticator. :rage:

As far as I can tell, after you log out, it will update somewhere between instantly and never.

As an amusing addendum to my previous post, the last thing I did before logging off last night was change a bunch of stuff to create a completely new look for one of my characters.

I log in today and see that my character look hasn’t even updated on the in-game character select screen. What hope do we have for profiles?

I finally started leveling my forum character and the funny thing is the forum is updating my picture to match the leveling gear i’m wearing, but it’s still showing me as lvl 50 even though he’s 58 now. Armory has always been crap at updating properly. :man_shrugging:

It just gets stuck sometimes. My armory and forum profile didn’t update for over a month after the SL prepatch came out, despite logging in/out of both WoW and the forums several times.

Updated my transmog 20-30 min ago and its updated

Been doing that for me since SL realeased. There’s no hope at all, really. :woman_shrugging:t2:

This has been happening consistently to me too. I think they broke something small and either haven’t realized it or can’t be bothered to hotfix it. Which is frustrating.
