ptr is back up and still revered… hello blizzard stop gatekeeping heroics when you’re nerfing the rest of the game. insane you have to farm revered now but not TK/ssc attun still.

Raids get nerfed > Attunes get removed.
Heroics have not been nerfed. Will never get nerfed.
The rep grind is the attune. It is there to make sure you play enough to get geared and prepared. Some of the heroics are no joke.
What is it keeping you away from besides the heroics themselves?

heroics got nerfed to honored with then attun got removed. if you read the first post and not the title where i said this you would know i already covered this.

I meant not nerfed as in, not easier to defeat. You still should have gear, not be a fresh 70. Rep is the safeguard against pugging fresh 70s and having the group fail midway, because heroics can’t be reset.
But yes, the rep change you are looking for comes with Zul’Aman.
I’m pretty sure it will be revered until ZA is released where it drops down to honored. That’s how it was in the original TBC.

In theory running heroics at honored instead of revered rep actually makes them harder since you’ll have less gear

another ptr update and still revered. what are you guys doing?
Did you know that blizzard is gatekeeping people from playing the game by having a subscription fee? Did you know they are gatekeeping content by making it impossible to do sunwell naked?
You can be correct and not right at the same time. Having barriers to content built into the game does not meet the common use definition of gate keeping and you know that.

terrible logic lol.
at least my logic makes sense THEY did nerf other attun/raids but left heroic the same.
Artificial time gating like getting revered to do heroics (or to get PvP rep gear) just makes no sense when one can just join a T5 raid as a fresh 70 and gain gear that far surpass anything you’d ever get from heroics.
Even if T4 and T5 attunement was still in game, we play a 15 years old game, this time gate made sense back then, it makes no sense now when people aren’t playing TBC Classic like they played Original TBC.
Don’t want undergeared players in your heroics? Then don’t play with them.
Time gating, implies that you are limited on getting rep… You are not.
You can spam the normal dungeons over and over.
There is no “Time” limiting factor that would prevent you from getting rep.
Running normal modes takes time
You do know that in OG retail tbc, they made heroic keys require honored right before ZA came out to get people caught up aka phase 3…it was in Retail tbc
No they don’t it’s phase 3, it just helps gear up alts faster, during retail tbc heroic qs were honored at this point, no one struggles with heroics, people just play 4-6 characters, rather not rep grind on all of them to raid.
confirmed 17th release date, heroics are still revered, gg won’t see them nerfed down to honored meanwhile s1 pvp gear goes to honor, making farming rep for heroics less meaningful

With all the attunements nerfs i don’t know what’s requiref anymore. Is getting revered even necessary anymore?
yes it is but at the same time unlocking heroics is also good and bad. My priest just hit 70 and got t5 geared pretty quickly (was extremely lucky with a bunch of drops).
So I been running a lot of dungeons just trying to hit revered and I gotta tell you… some of these normal dungeon groups are NOT ready for heroics. Was healing a normal SV yesterday and the dps was so low they couldn’t even break the tanks on Warlord before he got the attack buff.
