What a missed opportunity. The tuskarr dinghy and the angler’s raft both should have just been vehicles that you could fish from. Why make them toys? There could have been all sorts of fishing boat vehicles then, engineering made ones, little outboard boats, ski boats, etc.
Because rafts can’t coast on land. Nor can they fly.
Hmmm. I’ve been fishing from my raft since I got it in the original Pandaria expansion. It lasts ten minutes and has no cooldown. Only breaks on damage. You can even fight on it after chasing Evermaw down.
I mean, we’re breaking flight rules with other things, why not a raft. Isn’t a flying carpet just a deflated raft?
You can fish from the raft. Don’t know about the other one.
No? A raft and a carpet are two very different things.
And the magic flying carpet was an inspiration from Aladdin.
Hello - The Dreadwake
A boat mount that can not only cross land but fly, so it’s not really a hard fast defense.
fair enough. However, I feel like if we are going to let ground mounts fly, why not break other rules. Someone can sprinkle some pixy dust on one, or cast a spell, or have Bruce Sotto use “Lifter” on it.
Boat =! raft.
Kinda thought that was obvious.
noun
Bring a shaman fishing buddy with you to cast the water walking spell, and voilá!
Used as a boat but not classified as one. Bringing a raft far out into the ocean would be stupid, and water ripple/waves would tear it apart.
It’s less about the “fishing” part, and more about the “tooling around in a boat” part. They currently make multiple person mounts now, imagine going fishing with a buddy together in your boat? Or having boat races? All sorts of fun.
Because the laws of physics apply to flying mounts constantly.
which is exactly why it should fly.
Fantasy game can make that raft safe.
This is one of the silliest topics that I’ve ever seen anyone try to troll.
he’s doing a semi-decent job of it.
Hello, Warthinator. Nice to see you too.
Let us use the River Boat outside of Thousand Needles. Free the river boat!!
Sometimes you have to use what you got. And sometimes there’s three orcs, two tauren, six vulpera and two hungry worgen that all have to get across the river. Only two human sized beings fit on the raft. And only the orcs know how to steer. What’s the least amount of crossings to get them all across before the worgen eat the vulpera?
