Is there a legitimate reason lore or some dev response to why vulpera can’t be Druids?
There is no lore saying they can’t be druids.
But there is no lore that shows any vulpera as druids or any sort of interest in the dream or wild life besides whats in the dunes and what suits their needs.
And being a druid is a very intimate thing, lorewise it is severely difficult to learn, but the key point here is that no vulpera we’ve seen even talks about the concept of it.
An interesting thing to share though is one of their fur colors is called forest and a fox looking creature that we know nothing else about shows up in the war of the anicents.
There may be a sect of forest vulpera we havent encountered yet, they are a very mysterious race so far and appear to be a simple people.
I really want to hear more lore about the vulpera, I feel like they got the shortest straw but it came to lore in BFA, but they didn’t even get a DROP of story in shadowlands at all! but I guess that makes sense because there was a lot more MAJOR things going on but thats my point.
I really do think that Vulpera will rarely if not at all EVER get any more lore info on them, I really want to hear more about them, they feel so weak story wise and in lore and in roleplay communities no one takes them seriously cause they are wrote horribly into the lore.
Lore reasons? I’m guessing Blizzard didn’t want to do original models for the different forms.
They already had to do that for Zandalari Trolls and KT Humans.
That is % my train of thought as to why they don’t have vulpera druids - yet. Here’s to hoping the horde’s most popular new race gets the best class ever in 10.0! The new cheetah form has me feeling abnormally hopeful.

Vulpera Lore:
We come from across the sea in a place that isn’t a desert where there are many more Vulpera.
That is 100% of Vulpera lore.
I say we find those little floofers and boop ALL their snoots until they join the Cenarion Circle!

I agree.
We can tie some up inside pillowcases and throw them in the river to see which ones can learn aquatic form.
The ones that sink are druids, and the ones that float are obviously witches.

A lot of the allied races can technically share lore with the bases races, with the exceptions being vulpera, zandalari and kul tiren.
So I think we will get some more vulpera lore at some point, I just don’t know how deep it will be, they claim to be a simple people and it seems true for the most part.
They have some dark secrets with the whole notion of the wailing bone, just gotta see where that goes.
Because blizzard hates fun, I think they should allow more race’s to be other classes like how they did in cata, just write into the lore that vulpera are shape shifters or something I dunno…
