Why are you upset at the way other people play the game?

Agreed. And, if you are skilled like Grizzle’s example of 600 ilvl 11 delves, being in a raid is usually worse than M+ and delves because you go from being 100% or 20% of the team to maybe 4%. You can parse straight 100s and still lose. So I think non mythic raid rewards should be buffed

No, it specifically pertains to the 21 Gilded crests available from completing T11 bountiful delves three times per week. It’s not arbitrary. If you increase the difficulty of Delves and make D8 as hard as current D11, and then make D11 substantially more difficult than it is now… then those 21 crests will be much harder to obtain. This will result in a lot of casuals no longer trying to get them. It’s gatekeeping.

In what part lol replace the words resources and power with crests and gear.

Im not. That would be like me saying Shamans cant get hero track gear from delves lol

Fighting to make the game harder, in order to increase the required skill or effort required to obtain rewards which are currently obtainable? That’s attempted gatekeeping.

You want to take something that is doable right now at a certain gear/skill level… and change it so that it takes a higher gear/skill level to complete.

Oh you must have missed his thread that took a jab at disabled people and people that only do delves :man_shrugging:

Yes you are. Think about it.

If you make the rewards significantly harder to get, then fewer people will be able to get the rewards.

It’s only attempted gatekeeping if you have zero understanding of the definition of gatekeeping.

You can repeat yourself over and over but it won’t make it true.

i did. and i am surprised to hear that. i hope that’s a misinterpretation of his comments.

Yea. Sometimes it’s nice seeing other people enjoying something instead of trying to over analyze every aspect of a video game or how it’s just not fair that solo delvers are getting this sweet sweet gear.

Try it some time. You might like it.

I’m not the one who doesn’t understand.

If you make a reward harder to get, then fewer people will get the reward.

Do you agree with that statement?

The reward system is precisely why some players choose to go that route…not simply because it’s “easier” it’s actually harder if you don’t know what you’re doing…but they do it because it’s faster…you don’t have to sit around waiting for group content along side with other things going on in real life…it rewards you for your commitment and you feel like your time was worth it

M+ has it’s challenges, you have to form a group and then there’s no guarantee those players will stick around to complete it even though you get a guaranteed piece of loot at the end even if it isn’t timed and you also get a vault piece…you can loophole this into Mythic track gear for 10+

Delves are meant for people who don’t have time to sit and wait on other people…you don’t get Mythic gear from Delves and it also takes longer to get Gilded, well enough, to even upgrade a heroic piece of gear…

He made a thread using delve arguments against them but he offended disabled people in a negative way.

Just saying, that’s the type of person you say you don’t see. Not sure why you’d ignore something like that for the sake of the comment you made but hey, you do you.

You are.

Nope. People just have to put more effort into getting said reward.

Nope.

Are you serious?

Fighting to make something that was designed by nature to be casual friendly and pretty much easy mode. To become either very difficult or non-rewarding is pretty much gatekeeping and returning to the status quo of either do hard group content for any reward or have no end game progression.

Delves was to grant players whom do not have the desire or time to run and do more difficult content or time consuming group content a chance to still have gear progression. Trust me when I say the fact they are now getting gear, has zero effect on the higher end players and I would bet the vast majority of them could care less. Its just an extremally few on the forums that are complaining about it. Not even a whole .01%.

Right there should spell it out, its a non-issue, and one of only a hand full of players even think about.

It takes a week and a half of Delves to be able to craft a Myth Track equivalent piece of gear, which leaves extra currency to upgrade the Hero Track items fully.

Part of the nature of content aimed at people who “don’t have time for other people” is that it’s inherently easier to be successful in, which by all means SHOULD mean it’s not as rewarding vs content that isn’t designed with that restriction.

And that’s not really the case right now.

(Again, if it was an isolated track, like PvP is, I’d have no problem with this. I know separation comes with its own set of issues but that’s honestly what I lean toward at this point)

Edit: Sorry, no, it does take 2 full weeks of Delves, so not much leftover there. But still, 2 weeks lines up with the crafting timegate anyway. That’s Myth Track every Spark.

Thats not gatekeeping.

Gatekeeping requires me to keep the rewards from them. Which is not happening.

I truly believe you’re just messing with me at this point. There’s no way you actually believe this.

Yep.

You’re acting like delve difficulty being buffed makes it impossible
