Why are you upset at the way other people play the game?

Its like… 10mins start to finish isnt it? If you just buy the gems via currency

Well then, why are you even in this thread? Just going by this statement alone, you shouldn’t even want to do M+, you know, because of all the button pushing.

and having to do it for …the gear…

M+ is fun.

Time spent is probably closer to like … 4 hours?

Esp cause week 1 a certain boss kept not giving credit.

Now, time taken start to finish is probably like 1 hour.

It feels bizzare for me to argue this but isnt that a boiler plate argument for anything and everything. How is what your arguing different then someone saying elite having a color locked variant of weapons doesn’t diminish their play,?

No its not.

If they don’t care for the color variant, then it doesn’t diminish their gameplay.

If they do, it affects it in a negative fashion because they cannot have it.

Although, some only value things because it is exclusive, so it kinda puts stuff at odds.

It takes maybe no more than 30 minutes to do, calm down dramatic Dolores.

Literally whining about having to play the game with the… masses…

I mean… I can get his argument if it was something like conduits in sl that took months to farm but its a quick series of quests…

It’s wild to say that the time spent doing that is a detriment, when you can get it done and squared away in less time than they’ve spent whining in this selfsame topic.

Just because stuff is quick doesn’t mean it’s a welcome addition to the game.

If anything I consider it a welcome addition - it’s one less slot of gear I need to be concerned about when an alt hits cap.

But if the argument is removal of gear slots, they can do that in other ways.

They had given legendaries for a slot before. (Expac long legendary quest chains also suck.)

Sadly its pretty useless in pvp by necessity

I kinda ignore pvp, just like Blizzard does. :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

the stats don’t work in PVP?

Heavily nerfed. Has to be self sustain is better then dmg gains in most situations

The options are to lower delve rewards or increase delve difficulty, with the latter branching into increasing the difficulty via aura buffs or increasing the difficulty in a granular way that is specific to each spec, or perhaps even to each of a number of spec “groups”. For example, I would argue that VH and Brew are similar enough that you could tune mechanics for both of them at the same time, with only maybe needing to do slightly different aura values. They could sort all the specs into clusters that are based on general levels of mobility, sustain, and disruption.

I definitely think they should increase the difficulty via the granular method, as well as better tuning the overall difficulty curve. Delves released with a worse version of the same problem that led them to axing the first 10 M+ difficulties that were rarely ran, except they’re giving out their max rewards at a difficulty that is equivalent to a current M0. Especially for a new system it absolutely deserves to have this kind of attention and investment. I know companies don’t have shame, but it noetheless would be shameful for them to treat what is supposed to be a new pillar like it were Torghast.

If the above is something that they just refuse to do for whatever reason, I think the next best thing is to lower the rewards. By their solo, casual nature delves are in a unique position to not be impacted by this in a meaningful way, and aura buffs to content are the worst type of sledgehammer approach. There’s something to be said of forcing longer fights and more severe consequences making fights harder, but usually the end result of applying this kind of fix to “finished” content results in it feeling like a slog. Not always, as we saw with the early changes to overworld mob power, but much of the time.

You know, I’ve pointed out inconsistencies and disingenuity where I’ve seen it, so I just wanted to say that I appreciate the internal consistency on display here. I think saving broad changes for a new season is a reasonable ask.

Yes, fully agree.
