Genuinely curious. Why are you still playing this game? Is anyone looking forward to doing Korthia dailies, covenant assaults, and Torghast for the next 8 months? These things feel like actual chores IMO.
The raid is the only thing the game has going for it and even then it’s mediocre. The first half is decent but most of the bosses in the 2nd half are extremely undertuned. Shards of domination is the most lazy system implemented to date. M+ is just more of the same and has become even less relevant due to the shards of domination system. PVP is dead.
All this on top of the recent scandal and overall lack of care by Blizzard has me curious what keeps you subbed? Friends? Sunk cost? Habit? Loyalty? Hope?

I just got ksm so for me its raid and rounding out gear.
Also just swapped to engi so lots to skill up

I am not much of a raider. I enjoy other content in the game. There is seriously 15years+ of content here but if its not “New” no one wants to do it. So most folks complaints about the game? Luckily I do not share in their pain. The hardest raid content I do is Normals. Just enough to see the content.
Due to this I will be here till Blizz pulls the plug

Old content, New Content, Pets, Mogs, It’s a much more affordable and safer hobby than aircraft or offroading or IRL pets. WoW cured my dandruff, taught me how to plant an herb garden and that most meteors burn up in earths atmosphere.

Because I love WoW and it’s helped me through so much. I don’t just jump ship because of others or their opinions. I love the game, have played it through thick and thin, and there have been times where I was just happy to play in older expansions when I didn’t have sufficient funds to purchase newer ones.
There is and always has been plenty to do, for me at least. So much lore to discover, so many secret hiding places, secret lore, reputations to grind, paragon satchels to farm, mounts, pets, toys and novelty items to go after, dungeons and raids to solo, professions to level, alts to catch up, fun battlegrounds to do (even the train wreck ones are hilarious at times! ^.^), etc…
But yes. I’ve always loved WoW, even during the times when I didn’t have the latest expansions or through whatever in-game issues or gripes I’ve had with the game (or despite the occasional unpleasant experience from other players). I normally just keep my head down and go do something else for a little while, in-game or out, if there’s anything I don’t particularly like or have issues with. If necessary, I just take a break and then come back whenever I feel like it.

At this point I mostly just play battlegrounds and do a bit of the “chores” to keep up. BGs are timeless competitive fun.
Torghast I’m basically done with that as I have about the amount of currency required for the upgrade. Assaults I did a few times and I see no reason to do them again. Korthia I get the weekly done and then go maybe one or two other times per week.
I used to do raids and M+ but no longer do except for the occasional LFR or M+0 for the weekly quest. I will likely take a break soon and perhaps come back at a future patch or expansion as I have several times before.
Because there is nothing else to play and FF is too Foofy for me

Right now I only log on every 3 days or so. I do the new dailies and get 3 treasure boxes from my covenant. However, that’s about all I do. Wont be long for me to give the game a long break.
