Why are you learning dungeons on high level mythic plus difficulty, and in content that outgears you?

Like I said before, if you struggle to be intellectual toward anyone, no matter who, you are the one with a shortcoming.

nah can’t communicate w/ stupid you know. Especially a liar

I can you’ve just become boring and repetitive. I’ve exposed you for what you are, an elitist buffoon with poor reading comprehension. You’re also hard stuck and projecting hard. It’s fine. Maybe you will break through your current skill ceiling.

Hard stuck yet the gap between you and I is growing day by day.

It really isn’t, but keep pretending that “m+ is exponential!111!!”, it is, but not until mid 20s.

Lmao, what? Are you denying that M+ difficulty scales exponentially?

I’m 2445. You are still sub 2k at 1832.

Okay I’ll be back.

please do. We need a clown to make us laugh

that’s only part of the problem. The other part, I’m 370, and haven’t set foot in a single DF dungeon. Just from WQ’s, rares, hunts, feasts, etc…Now that’s likely to keep increasing seeing as I’m not even trying to gear but wq’s keep going up. At 370, the gear in M0 is only a few ilvl’s higher than what I have. And since I’ve mostly been exploring, I wouldn’t jump in mythics without my trusty guild groups, but the average players mindset is “if it’s not an upgrade, I’m not doing it”. And the average player is probly better geared than me. The main problem is there’s too many ways to get gear, and not enough ways to learn what you’re doing. Sure you could take my ilvl, do the dungeons on normal, then heroic, then M0m with little to no chance at an upgrade, just the ability to learn the dungeons, or you could jump into some strangers group, and pray all goes well. The majority of players are gonna choose the latter, as it’s faster.

And than you wonder why you can’t determine who to invite to your groups. This comment goes against everything you’ve been saying throughout this thread.

Use the tools provided and you might start seeing increases in what you’re able to accomplish.

Its scales nonlinear but not exponentially.

For it to be exponential you would see doubling of all health and damage with each key stone level increase (if it was to the power of two, triple if it was to the power of three and so on.)

it would look like this:
Key Scaling = Base scaling * Key Level^2

Keys gain what 8% per key level which compounds every time. The difficulty increase from a +20 to a +21 is probably larger than a +2 to a +7.

Edit: Looked it up
+2-7 is 47% increase
+20-21 is 48% increase

Yup that would be why its nonlinear. Meaning not an even gain for every key level. 1,2,3,5,7,9,13 etc would be nonlinear gains.

“Exponential” is a very specific mathematical expression.

2^2 = 4
2^3 = 8
2^4 = 16
2^5 = 32

I could be wrong but from what I remember from health and damage gains it definitely doesn’t increase this fast. Its a linear gain until somewhere around +10’s than it increases and does so again later on.

To be fair this is me nitpicking.

Yeah, tbh my mathematical vocabulary isn’t the best so I’ll take your word for it. I think most people would understand what’s being talked about though.

Fair enough. I’m an INTP so I tend to be overly precise and derail threads about language use.

The easy way to remember it is if you use exponential increases as it scales the numbers get astronomical. Here are a couple of examples:

You would only have to fold a piece of paper 42 times to be thick enough to reach the moon.

In 44.045 hours a single bacteria (if it had enough food and was able to reproduce without other limits) would weigh more than all of the planets in the solar system combined.

+2: 0%
+3: 8%
+4: 17%
+5: 26%
+6: 36%
+7: 47%
+8: 59%
+9: 71%
+10: 85%
+11: 104%
+12: 124%
+13: 146%
+14: 171%
+15: 198%

Yeah when things compound with a fixed percentage increase it starts off very slow and ramps up. Like you said around the +9-10 you start to see it take off.

It’s 10% per level.

Oh your right, 10% compounding.

Edit: Looks like the standard 8% increase for keys +2-10 and then jumps to 10% +11 onward.

Status update: It’s been over an hour and no score increase.

Competitive gaming like m+ is intended to be played with premade groups, even more after a certain level (15+)
