i’m actually enjoying it
Surprise surprise the person who insulted me got their post removed. Thank you mods.
I dunno, I’m still having fun.
Leveling alts is one of my favorite parts of the game, and, barring some of the leveling dungeons being particularly badly scaled cough Maw of Souls cough, this expansion has been fantastic what what makes this game fun for me.
I don’t endgame raid, the most I’ve really done is LFR and a couple of guild runs on Normal. I only recently got into casual pvp because I wanted the Heroic Leap legendary and learned that I actually don’t hate it with a fiery passion like I thought I did, and I decided to level a Holy Pally and try and get KSM before the season ends despite being able to count on one hand the number of M+ dungeons I’ve ever run.
So yeah, if you don’t treat this game as a job it’s not hard to have fun.
He must convince the entire fanbase. He cant be stopped… this is his quest. He must scream that WoW is ending before it ends. He’s been doing this probably since the very start of WoW time with every expansion… either that or he’s new to WoW and already feels the desire to complain and scream that its ending. Either way, the boosted rogue is not a force to be reckoned with…
Smh he probably posted this because he was bored and mad he didn’t get the newest shadowland gear in record time.
Half the player base leaves EVERY expansion. This even happened in Wrath. Just because you don’t understand how a cyclical game with content patches works doesn’t mean Shadowlands didn’t literally break sales records (only to lose shortly after by that terrible bug filled game)
It must really grieve these types of people that there are still millions of players happily playing the game for what it is…
People?? … Happy?? No this can’t be right, the boosted rogue haunting the forums is always right. There must be a mistake, it can’t be happiness. We are all in denial of our true emotions. An illusion, what is the fanbase hiding?
Millions? Lol no.
Whose defending them ? Most ppl who like the game aren’t the ones being affected by all these systems. Those who are , are very vocal about it .
If there is any defense ,it would be “cheap entertainment” or “nothing is better out there” which imo are both valid and are not ppl in denial .
You guys should play spellbreak on steam, f2p. That game is really fun.
Yes millions… unless you have proof other wise.
lol, yes, if we had only but known we’ve been living a lie these past 17 years!
Lmfao. Wows playerbase dropped MILLIONS since the end of legion, with a huge drop since SL started. Ppl play, yes, but sincerely happy? No. Unless they are a blizz white knighter then they would be happy with a pile of crap on their doorstep as long as it has a blizz or wow logo on it.
Let’s not forget the huge increase at Shadowlands launch. Is everybody happy no but are millions still playing absolutely.
Lol, yea there was numbers, until the newness wore off about a month or two and numbers dropped like a rock.
Which happens pretty much every expansion especially since Pathfinder was introduced.
“Happy(ness)” is purely subjective. I suppose it depends on what carrot you’re chasing. I know I’ve been happily playing WoW as an unwashed casual since TBC when I could no longer spend my every waking hour to “progress”.
However, since then I’ve found countless ways to stay engaged in this character and a long roster of others. I think this MMO has produced so many ways for the player to stay involved that it still remains at the forefront of the genre tbqh.
Happiness is subjective, yes, but it also can be defined.
I find competition to be the most positive attribute of the game, since through both winning and loosing one learns. However, if one does not try, they do not learn. Being competitive in the game also transitions to in real life. Happiness, for example, can be achieved through rigorous competition or even number crunching and min-maxing.
Yet, millions of unsubbed players would argue wow lost its touch, and rightfully so. I believe it has as well. I think the retention of players falls on addiction, not on happiness. It is why they keep rng as the primary means of loot. With addiction, one’s mind thinks its happy but really it’s just filling a chemical and psychological need, like eating, smoking, drinking, drugs, ect.
Let’s not mistake addiction for happiness.
So quit and move the hell on already…
0p has more likes than all counter posts combined, says something how people feel about the game now days.
