I’d agree with you if everyone who disagrees about x, y, z, thing about SL wasn’t accused of defending blizzard. I enjoy a decent amount of SL. When I say that I’m making no claims about anyone else. I’m not saying it’s an objectively good expansion or anything. Im just saying I’m having fun which is why I play a game in the first place.
People are allowed to think differently. Life would be a lot worse if everyone thought the same.
I can only speak for myself. Where there are elements that I didn’t like about WoD and BfA, Shadowlands is the first expansion I wish I hadn’t bought!

This has been happening for quite some time now and is completely normal. People stopped falling for the perma-subscribed treadmill years ago when the MMO bubble burst. There’s too many other good games out to just pigeon-hole yourself into one now.
True to a point. But never in a two month period. People didn’t even wait around to complete the raids, max their renown, or max their covenants.
I tried it a whole hour and quit after that SL was so far the worst expansion ever…
All my friends quit 2 of my roleplay guilds entirely quit to FFXIV. This game keeps going wrong direction
Wrong half the playerbase has never quit within the first 2 months of a release usually a year after… when so many quit due to how worse this was then the last then you have a issue
google it. blizzard employee leaked and posted the numbers months ago…before he got fired you really that blind on the news? even half the Popular youtubers have quit and shamed blizzard

the player loss just happened quicker and say what you want my friends list went straight dead first time ever cause all the other expansions people say were trash my friends list boomed all the way thru. sure sl might be better than other mmo’s but that flat says something about the gaming industry. if someone actually came out with something better than wow it would of done been dead but the mmo makers majority trash you know it and i know and blizz can put out some janky stuff and have no worries. i don’t completely hate sl just alot of it and i’ve watched my busy server and 3 guilds some of toons were in go straight dead so there’s evidently a problem like everyone knows.

Check some of the % stats for them across various raids…
50% more characters have AOTC Sire vs Ghuun or Xavius and those two raids were faaaaar more alt raided than Nathria, so if anything it should have pumped their % numbers up. Nah, people are still subbed. They just aren’t playing 30 hours a week… They are playing other games, which is a GOOD sign because it means they don’t feel like they have to mindlessly grind day in and day out to keep up.
I’ve defended this game for years but this time I just can’t anymore, legion had two month psych updates, this hell hole hasn’t had a single content update and we’re almost 6 months in, the damage is done lol, once you get curve it’s KSM or high end arena, no class hall stuff no class armor sets no incentive to do sh!t definitely not chorgast which is worse than islands hell even the world quest somehow got worse, I’ve never in my 12 years of playing wow have been so bitter and done with how shallow it’s become.

Yes the expansion feels empty, yes my friend list is empty . But that’s a small sample size

They spend more time on level 40 forum alts than playing the actual game. Crazy people can’t be reasoned with, they have no concept of what people who actually play the game feel.
They would have you believe that SL was better than Wrath if nobody called them out for it.
