Because it makes me laugh like a 4 year old how silly I look as a panda. The animations are hilarious. My transmog is intentionally hideous which adds to my laughter. In BG’s it is especially funny getting knocked around and how it looks to see a retarded looking bear disrupting the other team. I am not a great pvp’er by any means but I know I did something good when they abandon objectives to chase me around the map. I remember one time in a match I ran into a group of Horde and just stood there looking at them and they looked at me for a minute like “is he serious?” before attacking me. The bear twitching and groaning from being hit had me in tears. Lol.
I am hoping we get some shaman love in 8.1 though.

I started leveling a Female Panda Shammy and loved it. Food buff, cool animations, great dancers, general sense of joy. Also keg-style totems. It's pretty awesome.
Then I got tired of leveling and went back to my level 90 Orc shaman so I wouldn't have to grind so far.
Might race change her to a Panda now though.
Also, male Pandas have great jokes.
