Why are we Punished for Rage Quiters in shuffle

so if u go the first 3 rounds in a shuffle and only win 1 out of the 3 and someone decides to rage quit why i do lose rating as a result of them quitting halfway though the shuffle htf is that fare at all

I think sometimes a player might realize that its a premade shuffle match, team in voice win trading. So knowing they will go 0-6, just bail, why pretend to even care lol.

There is NO incentive to stay, AND you keep your MMR.

I don’t blame anyone who leaves a match with a DK or BM hunter in it.

Yea this happened but with a rdruid that decided to afk mid match
I went LWLWL and the last match that I was gonna win because this dude was literallt afk the game kicked him before we could kill him literally half a second and I got negative rating lel. So whoever got to kill the afk druid got off the same or on a plus but not me and the other dps.

If someone leaves then the entire game ends? So you could’ve been 4-2 overall but got stuck with a 1-2 and lose rating?

Maybe if the guy stayed, you would have gone 1-5. Instead he gave you a 1-2, be grateful.
