Why are we defending premades vs pugs again?

I never pug. Decided to pug this morning cus I need sarge rank on my crap gear hunter.
3 games.
First game vs premade. We had 1 healer they had 3 1/2 GGEZ go next.
Second game pug vs pug GGEZ 3-2 victory.
Third game vs austrailian prisoner premade and we won 3-0 GGEZ.

This is definitive anecdotal proof and consecrete evidence that solo queuers crying about premades actually suffer from being bad and need to git gud.

Well, last night I had a game we did fairly well against a premade. I’ll admit that, but I would say about 90% of the premades I’ve encountered tend to have 2-3 well geared priests, 2-3 Hunters, and the rest is a toss up. I think most peoples experience is pretty atrocious.

I agree most people are atrocious and quit before the game even starts.

Because seeing that premade, should inspire you to go n make the effort to assemble a group yourself to achieve a better result. But instead you want that premade ground to be disassembled.

Nobody advocates for this at all, that premade should just be matched into another premade.

I’m really failing to understand why you find having a team of 10 people, pre organized, in discord, generally well geared against a team of completely random people a defensible position. It’s a wildly unfair advantage over anyone solo queuing.

It makes perfect sense from the standpoint of the average player to be pit against other solo queuers, there isn’t an argument there in my opinion. It’s about having fun, players should have fun.

Premades belong fighting other premades, end of story.

No. Premades should match against premade if there is a bigger reward for them doing that. Like they make x2 honor/rep per cap or something. Otherwise why would they go through all of that effort to assemble a group n manage discord to make the same amount of reward as a random yolo solo queuer who doesn’t wanna make effort. How on earth is that fair.

Because they are fairly competing against a team that is as organized as them. That if the definition of fair. Graveyard camping isn’t?

See your problems is:

  • You don’t wanna spend the time n effort to make or find a group
  • You don’t wanna manage 10 ppl in discord
  • You don’t wanna learn BG best practices

Yet, you expect to earn the same reward as ppl who do all that n don’t fall behind them.

Definition of fair that who works harder earns more.

Because you’re wrong. 50% of premades aren’t organized or in discord. The majority of premades are trash trade chat no coms premades.

The problem is solo queuers let them win and should be punished for throwing and wasting everybodies time.

Players honestly won’t be satisfied until it is solo queue only at which time they will complain about the random comps they draw. It’s funny how players are always upset about an even fight when we instinctively seek out fights that are advantageous for us. Whether that be gear, numbers, or utilizing abilities or terrain.

Having done the rep grind to exalted utilizing solo queue only I personally see no issues with the current system. Players that take the time to coordinate and/or chose to play with friends are rewarded for those efforts. Everyone has the ability to do this so it’s fair.

Solo queue is a choice just like joining a premade and you accept the consequences of your choices when you make them. Those making that choice should embrace it. If you do you can find a lot of joy in the unknown RNG of the solo queue. Use adversity to grow your own abilities.

Blizzard will never approve a solo queue only option. They will never fracture the queues. Minimizing the amount that a premade can queue will be circumvented with coordinated queues (expect this when AV comes). Rather than get angry about it find a way to enjoy it and use it to your advantage. If you cant do that then PVP might not be for you and that’s okay too.

99% of premades are not in discord, the pugs they face are just undergeared and more random of a composition of classes so… get gear before pugging

I don’t disagree that your hard work should pay off, I work for a living and I own a business.

But I don’t see the issue with premade versing premade and allowing solo querues to fight other solo queuers.

You can still play with your friends, it’s just you’ll be pvping against a team that will actually be a challenge.

I would argue about the majority of people opting to do Warsong Gulch are indeed people solo queuing in the hopes to do a quick fun bg at the end of there day only to get monkey stomped into the earths core by a group of well organized monsters lol.

No. It doesn’t make you special.

ITT: Everyone arguing for or against premades but fail to see they are giving first world views rather than objective thoughts on the matter.

Because premades want to stomp pugs. That’s literally it. People want to minmax for rep and forgot that the game is supposed to be fun. If they actually wanted to have competitive games vs other premades they’d have no problem with the solution of separate queues.

The battleground system is so toxic right now. I joined a few premade groups for the first time over the weekend and in some instances games were just thrown and the flag dropped because they were lasting too long. It’s not personally fun for me to be in a premade and stomp a pug.

I know I’m a minority, but I love being able to log on to play a quick instanced battleground. This is the first iteration of wow where I can’t do that. It’s a total mess and so unenjoyable.
