Really crappy to ignore that this is an issue. It’s happened every night for the last few weeks.
Yeah, same thing happened last night right in my prime playing time. It’s beginning to get very irritating.
you cant tell a connection from a connection until it connects.
stopping a DDOS means literally taking the server offline.
You want blizzard to… do what exactly? Ask the idiots DDOSing to please be nice?
I just got DCed too.
You’re not a small Indy company…do your worthless job…almost 20 years & you still can’t get it right!
What is going on, people in hardcore are dying…
Side note: It doesn’t appear to be affecting everyone. I’m guessing there are certain nodes and pathways that are getting flooded but not others.
interesting. could chat in trade and whispers, moved character without rubber banding (to me), and had ~44ms ping, but abilities didn’t activate upon keystroke, and I couldn’t access bank/vendors.
trying a log cycle to see if it helps
Please explain to me your brilliant solution to full stopping DDOS attacks.
Thanks blizzard. Just bricked a +25 DHT my group was sailing smooth on due to this.
Idk what blizzard can do about this, but something has to give.
Not really tech savvy so I might be misremembering but when the last thread of DDoS attacks were happening blizz can prevent some of it but if they do a big enough attack I don’t think any company can stop it
I could google it and be more informed but I don’t care to do it right now
Really crappy to assume Blizzard is ignoring this.
Ouch, that’s gotta suck.
find the root cause of them
if its wow being a bad game then fix the bad parts of the game. ez
The sad thing is that there probably are people who unironically think this way about something like DDOS attacks.
its people angry with blizzard so they attack the servers
Was so used to people actually believing this I missed the hidden /s
Isn’t that normal though? joking
ASCHTUALLY!!
Jk
I saw a post of someone dying from drowning earlier I think at level 39, because of the D/C that must hurt so bad inside.
