Wpvp gear that is insane and then blue bad gear you can buy straight with honor. Why did you add the wpvp set that has full set bonuses and even scales higher ilvl blizzard…anybody else bothered by this?
To encourage some wpvp?

the wpvp gear should be same ilvl – isntead it is higher ilvl AND has a set bonus pvp oriented

From what I see, the wpvp gear scales to ilvl 408 and the honor gear scales to ilvl 411. Honor gear can be upgraded, but it only increases the pve ilvl. Not much of a difference really, minus the set bonus.

Yeah I thought the wpvp gear was lower ilvl in bg’s/arena and set bonuses do not work there either. Hopefully someone has it and can confirm.

The WPvP set bonuses do not apply in instanced PvP.

Should be noted that world pvp gear will be able to be upgraded to i421 epic quality through weekly world pvp quest currencies.
I assume said weekly quests won’t be active til season starts for obvious reasons tho.

Fine with me. The guys that like to pretend they’re General Schwarzkopf while they command a roving pack of stay at home dads over discord to jump solo players questing with war mode on need something too.

If you don’t want to die in WM then turn WM off. HKs in WPvP give Bloody Tokens and if I catch a player lacking fully geared or not the odds I kill it are very high. Everyone in a group that was eligible to receive honor from the HK will also get a Bloody Token. With that being said I wish you luck in WM.

I’ve had some fun moments with wm on, but they’re far outweighed by the amount of times I’ve killed an alli in a fair fight only for them to return with 20 of their closest friends at which point I’m done. Or the all too common alliance player that ignores you while questing until 4 others randomly show up and now they’re trying to kill you. Too hardcore for me.

basically wpvp gear is bis for outdoors, honor/conquest gear is bis for arenas/bgs. df is goated gearing design.
