Why are there structures in the Emerald Dream?

I thought it was Azeroth untouched? Or do i have that lore wrong?

I was wondering that myself. The green dragonflight should be up in arms (wings?) about that.

I suppose that, since the new world tree will eventually somehow be moved from the Emerald Dream into the ‘real’ plane of Azeroth, those structures will go with it?

Similar to the Bronze Dragonflight, it’s the Emerald Dragonflight base. :dracthyr_comfy_green:

Wowpedia’s better explaination:

The Eye of Ysera, often just shortened to “the Eye”, is a place within the Emerald Dream. It is the green dragonflight’s main base where Ysera and her brood watches over both the dream and Azeroth from. It was founded shortly after Azeroth’s (and thus also the Emerald Dream’s) creation when the green dragonflight was charged with their task of protecting both realms. The other green dragons honored Ysera by naming the field and that created within the Eye of Ysera.

Man, the titans really do ruin everything.

What was your expectation from the structures? :mag::robot:

Well its the Dream. My expectation is that they dont exist.

Gun-to-head, have to have them: they should have been trees.

It was, but then Titans showed up and threw statues of themselves everywhere.

They’re worse than Romans, honestly.

Well, I think it represents what the Titans did to the Dream. Or what they tried to do, at least.

Similar to the Ardenweald aesthetic? :mag::robot:

For me, I think it rocks for the emerald dragonflight. Better than being in a cave. :robot::+1:

More tragic realizing they’re likely not statues. :mag::robot:

Yeah, to clarify, the buildings in the Dream look insanely good. I love them. As someone living in the Northeastern US, it reminds me a lot of the structures we have around here left over from the Guilded Age/New Deal. Almost like aliens came down, built great structures and left. Leaving us with beautiful ruins that we dont have the knowledge to reconstruct.

But lore wise it seems weird.

Freakin’ Titans gentrified it! Next thing you’ll know there’ll be a McDonald’s and a Starbucks!

I can’t figure out them titans. First they’re good, then they’re bad, now they have pretty buildings. Can bad beings be harmonious or build in the Emerald Dream?

The Eye of Ysera is nice, as a titan condo.

Might be first ones stuff. It seems the titans have been lying to us about some things so they may not be what they think we are.

They had to put the restrooms somewhere.
