I’m specifically talking about low level battlegrounds here, like level 20-29. All the Alliance teams I go up against are like 90% arcane mages, no exaggeration. So much for variety.
They are very overpowered at low levels. So people play them to be OP’d.
I dunno, man. They fall over pretty quickly. It just looks dumb, almost like a multi boxer joined the battleground.
You can kill almost anyone with 2-3 arcane blasts at low level granted you aren’t immediately focused.
Aimed shot can easily take 50% of your health at low levels, but I don’t see an overabundance of hunters.
I certainly see an over abundance of hunters. MM is the new fad.
That’s all they are, fads
Low levels or at max level? I have to admit, the sound Aimed Shot makes is pretty satisfying. Even when I’m on the opposite end of it.
Must be those twinks…
tell a noob x is overpowered and what are they gonna do?
Low levels. There were 8 in an EotS I was in earlier. 6 balance druids, too
Watch one free casting… It gets pretty nutty due fact at low levels they can kill someone in 2-3 hits or 2 hits if they crit.
And then you can Blink 2 times, if you have the talent, and blink back to the last spot. Also Arcane Blast doesn’t have a Projectile telling everyone where you are …
And when you blink back you’re refunded another blink. And if you’re a void elf that can spatial rift you can blink away AGAIN.
Void Elf don’t “Blink” … they kinda shoot a floor based projectile … and then teleport to that location. I would Love it if what they had was a true Blink like the Mages have it … you know like a small Portal to the Void opens up and they just jump in and Zoom come out 20 yards further down.
But yeah i agree what you say, Void Elfs have one more Movement skill. That said i wonder if there are Goblin Arcane Mages … that juicy Rocket Jump isn’t bad either.
Because Arcane is pink, and pink is pretty.
Arcane is pretty powerful on single target damage at 120 against quest mobs. It’s got to have a niche somewhere.
