Bruh they got it right after many other games. Before Dragon Age Inquisition it was basically two models smashing faces together
I’m glad Bioware got past that point of that… Bioware weirdness were used to seeing with their characters in their animation department and inject more life into them… i just wish it they done it sooner. glares at their last Mass effect game and Anthem
My face is tired indeed.
While Blizzard’s games primarily composed of games where you control either one character overhead or multiple and build or kill stuff or etc (Starcraft, Old Warcraft games, Diablo and Herostorm to some extent), the animations of kissing and such, unless it’s a cutscene showing the two couples having a thing one another, isn’t needed as much. Same thing with Overwatch and Hearthstone, despite one is a fast paced multiplayer FPS, and the other is a card game, reminiscent to magic the gathering. Not saying it can’t be done, just saying that in game, it wouldn’t be as necessary.
WoW however, is something different entirely from the rest of Blizzard’s games, being that it’s third person, and it’s an RPG with some cutscenes and ingame animations and such to help convey the story. Which why i like to see that kind of thing to better visualize the story, rather then walls of text… or these days… pop up ads–err i mean “dialogue boxes”.
And honestly speaking, seeing Blizzard just cheaping out on animations during the in-engine cutscenes in BFA, just reusing the animations over again but overlaying another one on top just broke a bit of my immersion instead of actually animating a cutscene and it just looks a bit silly. No i don’t want it prerendered, i want it in-engine animated.
Yeah the smooches in Inquisition were my fav. Like one you can get with Dorian where he’s like “Oh for fricks sake” smooch. It happens if you don’t smooch him after the mission where you talk to his dad.
malf and tyrande are probably like those old couples that are tired of each other’s shxt. After all, they were together for so long, you’d go insane too.
“GET ME A BEER”
“GO GET IT YOURSELF TUBBY!”
