Why are there no black friday deals?

Way to let us down during a once a year time when we should be able to get some nice deals on mounts, pets, expansion price and more. i hope something is planned for tomorrow if not im Highly dissapointed with this company… its disgracful. if im disappointed i will keep my purchases with this compnay to a bare minimum. if i wasnt dissapointed id be happy to spend money and support the company. simple as that. get your sheet together… cmon…

Why? Because an expansion launches in a few days and Blizzard doesn’t want all those returning and possibly also new eyes seeing something they like and buying it on sale thus Blizzard loses out on potential profits, watch NEXT black Friday when there is no expac launch will have way more items on sale.

One of the tiles on the launcher is specifically for black Friday deals.

I figured it was because Blizzard is being inclusive.

There are. I received an email about Black Friday sale for games.

Mounts and pets sale is always later on in the month.

The entitlement around here is astounding.

They usually do it for xmas, but them not doing black friday is dumb, yeah.

You are very shortsighted if you think that.

Black friday should match the sales they do for Xmas.

“Why isn’t there anything I want on Black Friday Deal?” fixed it for you.

My best guess is any sales will be in Winter, AFTER DF launches.

I don’t even know what this means.

Blizz sales have always gone the following route:

  • November has a services sale
  • Black Friday has some Blizz game sales
  • later in December is the cosmetics sale

Your outrage is nonsensical.

uhm that’s not how sales work. the whole point of them is to reduce the price to a point where you get so many customers to buy them that the lost revenue is much less than the gains from the amount of items purchased because of the sale. not many people are going to flock to your sale when you only have a single item on sale.

I’m fully aware of how sales work and the malpractices of major corporations when it comes to selling products during major launch events.
