in the old world?! seriously you used to be able to fly straight through from hillsbrad to wetlands. now there’s this huge invisible wall blocking your way! WHAT IS THE POINT OF FATIGUE IF THERE’S A INVISIBLE WALL BLOCKING IT ANYWAYS?! I want to fighted someone but no this wall is blocking my copter’s way!

I haven’t encountered any invisible walls in the old world since I tried playing the Cata pre-patch while it was still downloading the expansion.

Nah, Purgation Isle is on the complete opposite of the map from Arathi.

Oh, I know where you are talking about. I was just correcting them as to the placement of Purgation Isle since it doesn’t border the Warfront zone (Arathi).
Even so, there shouldn’t be an invisible wall. Idk OP, I don’t want you to put a ticket in because that invisible wall is going to be there for a month there really shouldn’t be one since it’s on the same continent. Maybe try later?
There shouldn’t be, no. That is the confusing part. The only thing I can really come up with is that the game is stuck loading that area. I’ve had that happen before if my game was having performance issues.
if you outrun your hard drive, the game will stop you from travelling until it catches up, yes.
i go through there regularly… i haven’t encountered any walls.
is it over land, or across the water?
are you level cap, or chromie time?
could it be something to do with the warfront?
Only other thing I can think of is maybe there’s a low “ceiling” on part of the map. Like when you fly from Hyjal to Ashenvale and need to point your mount like 80% of the way down to keep it from doing the “I refuse to go higher” roar.

Normally, when that happens they are working of something there .This happen to me at going from Darkshore to Stonetlone mountain and again in Deadwind pass all were being worked on in the back ground for up coming content.

Hope not, but the drop isn’t a good one too high it will kill you too low to slowfall.

I’ve seen this type of behavior if you’re traveling faster than the terrain and models can load. Sometimes you’re colliding with a tree or something that hasn’t loaded in yet.
It’s to keep the white walkers out.
