That’s because you haven’t been formally introduced to Genesis Motes yet. 
I was just buying time until Dragonflight. Now I’m gonna be logged out for 4 days and then 5 days. Maybe if I care enough in that time I will make mounts. I find it highly unlikely that I will care about it after all of that thrilling gameplay of me waiting 9 days.
There wasn’t slimecat drama. There were dumb people making assumptions that were false.

The writing of the achievement did state as they assumed. Cause why else did they have to hotfix it to say as blizz intended?
The stupidest thing was that it was on the ptr for 3 months before anyone bothered to fix a typing mistake. Don’t care anyways. Got my slimecat and it’s just a +1.

The achievement was hotfixed because LFR wasn’t intended to be fated and they changed their mind.
The actual achievement said normal from the start for the mount
Heroic for the title
Mythic for the portals.
Nah the dumbest thing was people thinking LFR was going to award a seasonal mount.
