Why are the Warlock Wings bound to the Ugly Helm?

Why are the wings of the warlock clothing Vengeful Gladiator Dreadgear and Malefic Rainment bound to the very ugly helm of these items and ruins the entire transmog? This is by far the most essential and unique warlock set with the special effect of the wings but without a surprise the helm is one of the ugliest looking items just like most helms here and it also has the usual pathetic error bug where the hair of the character disappear when wearing it, like most helms here. The warlock wings should be tied either to the chest or to the shoulders and it should not need to transmog the ugly helm to use them, because the helms that cover the head are always the first that are being hidden by transmog here, due to their horrendousness. Please free the wings of the warlocks from this appalling and terribly ugly item and change them to be bound to the chest or shoulders.

How about asking them to make new gear with effects like this rather than changing how the old transmog works and ruin it for the people who actually like the helm and hate the rest of the set?

weird I think the set looks pretty cool, But it would be cool to have gear with animations like this again.

I’m honestly not sure how path of exile being free game has some better spell designs/skills/content than an mmo backed up by THE heavy weight in the gaming world.

PoE cosmetics are disgustingly overpriced though.

Imagine if Blizz put up new Incinerate visuals and charged $25 for it. The community would poop itself.

Hmmm, I think you got the title wrong, it should be “Isn’t it awesome that warlock wings are bound to such a badass looking demon helm?”

The helmet looks ridiculous.
Especially when it shows half of the races’ lower jaws instead of covering their entire face.

the helm used to be tied to the last boss of raids and was a pain to get back then, so i can see why it was the most sought after piece. the pvp gear mimicked the same appearance. i can remember first seeing them in org and thinking, “damn that looks so awesome; i want that so bad…” but not being in a good guild prevented that.

The helm looks awesome.

Opinion countered by opinion!

Also it’s a shame that Blizz doesn’t do more stuff like this.

The Betrayer set also has wings built in if you /roar

i think the helm looks clunky and broad to a point where it no longer matches the rest of the set, but also wish blizzard would do more stuff like this. especially in back slots.

we tend to get a LOT of identity in shoulders, helms, and chest in wow. with shadowlands we are getting back a little bit and i think having wings like this attached to backs or really a whole mess of cool effects should be attached here to open up where our gear looks coolest.

a third opinion enters the fray
