I don’t think I remember it being this low at the start of DF or am I wrong? We’re currently at only 68k atm with maybe 100k at peak.
Seems interest in retail has waned a lot.
Castle Nathria 350k
Sepulcher was 255kish
VoTI was 184kish
Amirdrassil was 388kish
RWF isn’t really here yet. We’re in Splits Week. I’m sure there are some people watching, but we’re nowhere near the main event. And even then, the numbers typically zig and zag until last two or so.
Are you confusing Heroic and Mythic week numbers?

Raiding is boring to watch, not many really cared about high end raiding

Well maybe you’re right and they’ll improve but they seem much lower than usual to me.

Streamimg has shifted from wow to other games.
you can’t watch raids with the exploding fireworks and disco ball of colorful eye blinding vomit of graphics.

mythic raid isn’t even out yet nobody cares about watching raids, even less so when it isn’t even the highest level

I’d rather watch paint dry than watch a guild run splits for 15 hours

The race starts next week, something good about heroic week is that most viewers will know when to tune in as all raid teams will start mythic next week.

early access killed all hype on the entertainment side of things. df launch had 800k twitch viewers and tww had 200k lol.

As has been stated, the race begins next week. This week is like watching spring training.

Mythic isn’t till next week or maybe the week after. This is all splits bud.

I feel like actual interest in TWW generally is much lower… Even on populated realms it’s not been nearly as many people playing in zones.
There is a possibility that sharding was changed and there’s less around in that sense. But compare anything in TWW with early Soup events, or time rifts, and I don’t see a fraction of the same amounts.

Okay so I’m not just remembering this wrong then, but maybe the numbers will pick up who knows.

People watch raiding quite a bit. Pathetically low numbers come from MDI and arena.

Hilarious part is many of them are views bots or alternate accounts and if there were drops enabled , you bet ppl are alt tabbing and doing something else.
Its bad in the sense you have ppl spending 16 hours a day but get paid peanuts . Heck if Pewdiboi streamed it he would make more money than the entire world first event would .

Phasing and massive zones. The servers are packed.
TWW has more hype going that DF did at any point. More people will be back. Game is at a peak right now, blizzard just needs to not blizzard it

Be interesting to see actual numbers of some sort from them but we’ve seen absolutely no box sales or anything which to me seems a bit of a bad indication.
Don’t know. Probably because its splits week.
Next week the numbers will go up.
Then again, maybe people are also tired of watching other people play the game at the sweatiest level? Idk im spit balling here cause I never watched them in the first place lol.

I’ve tuned in a couple of times but I have not really found it entertaining. How/who do you watch to get enjoyment out of it?

Hmm guess the only thing this could possibly mean is that WoW is a dead game gg well played time to pack it in no one is watching it on twitch
