i cant communicate with my teammates because they dont speak the same language as me. it doesnt make sense that we are in the same party for rated arenas. from my experience, the majority of sa server players dont speak english at the level required to quickly communicate with one another. its nearly impossible to do group content with them because of the language barrier. its like trying to force a non-native speaker into a high school level course on mathematics. if you cant explain the topics to them in a language they know, you get nowhere with them, educators can attest to this.
its not either parties fault they cant speak the other language, but to force it onto us in a video game, especially rated pvp and high rated pve, makes the content infinitely more of a struggle than it needs to be. please consider separating the servers into their language region when group content is moderated by a queue system.

This would effect que times and Blizzard has metrics it wants to hit for said que timesâŠ
As an aside? I wish there was some sort of configurable ping system or translation software used to help alleviate the problem (as well as a notification that such a system is being used) so blizzard can be happy with its que time metrics with lesser issues overall

I see this has been 10 month necroâd but I havenât had any communication issues from South American players. Plus we have pings now which are faster than typing.

Why necro something from 10 months ago? Just donât invite them if youâre so bothered.

I think the only thing I notice was a bit of a âcarefreeâ attitude in regards to keys/mechanics but it isnât fair to all those high performing SA players who get discriminated against as a result.
im not your nerco, i dont like speak gnomes.
I really miss that add on that blocked the Latin America servers for groups. Every once in a while you get an elite player but the majority are terrible.

And yet, the same issues are still present.
okay and usually i dont criticze ppl for being âracistâ for having this opinion but to completely categorize the ENTIRE player base as âterribleâ is exactly that. There are only three-four LATAM servers in the entire Wow server farm. Putting them in their own group would completely deny them any teammates and/or dungeon-matesâŠetc âŠessentially it would ruin their experience and for what? No one forces you to group with them.

Why do you only speak one language?

I know bits of Spanish but Iâm around that language pretty oftenâŠâŠâŠ why should I learn Portuguese for one game? I would rather learn Japanese
Yep. classic didnât even give them realms.
So the fun fact of the day is when blizzard doesnât make region servers, people will join the US ones anyway. A few realms I am told have some amount of SA players in classic. They like faerlina along with most US people for horde.
