Make this make sense, so as I was cycling characters through 5 masks to get the hero weapons from the vendor I finally did one for a class that can dual wield and found that I could not use two horrific vision weapons because they are unique equipped-void touched. Why is this a thing? So, if you can use a 2 handed weapon(except fury lol) horrific visions are just better for those characters for some reason. Especially since you have caster 2h and 1h and offhand on the vendor costing more for the 1h and offhand even, but you just go staff its just 500 resources and you can actually equip it. Why just randomly punish main hand off hand classes? I know its a small thing, but effort was made to make this very tiny makes the game slightly worse for it being there change and I’m just bemused at its existence.
I just ran into this and totally agree. So my druid, ret pally, arms warrior, etc get free weapon slot taken care of but my rogue is out of luck?
It’s arbitrary and bad design. And this late into the season
I was so shocked, again dual wielders are given the worst treatment possible.
It is restricted for literally no reason.
I’m guessing they want you to get Cartel Chips and buy one of those. I dunno.
Best I could find:
“Void-Touched” seems to be something they introduced in SoD, where it was one item per armor-crafting profession. The effects from those procs seem pretty beefy, which is probably why it’s limited to unique-equipped and (1).
Probably sounded cool to make RHV weapons “void-touched” and they didn’t think of the implications of that code that already exists.
