Why are the BFA raid still hard?

I thought raids two expansion ago were supposed to be solo’d?

Legion raids and prior get the bonus damage. BfA should be soloable as far as damage goes, but it will take time and be a challenge. By end of expac it should be easy enough. SL is still group content for most bosses/players, but I’m certain some classes with enough free time can solo it.

Bfa should be soloable now. Maybe not easy but its a legacy raid.

Shadowlands should be a “these specs can if youre good” solo experience. Or if the tanks are overtuned.

I hate the fact Blizzard is so stubborn with old raids. Mythic BFA raids should be soloable by any class that’s level 70 regardless of gear. Period.

And it seems like such an easy fix

Just make it so that players do 10,000% more damage and take 10,000% less damage in legacy content

Done, problem solved

They’ll be soloable by 10.3, like Legion was soloable by “9.3” (i.e. Zereth Mortis, which was actually wrapped into 9.2) is my guess.

Because Blizz screws up scaling at every chance they get.

Conspiracy theory, scaling is screwed up intentionally by the current Dev team because they are of the same cut as Ion and believe that raiders should feel special as long as possible, therefore by screwing up scaling, raiders get to keep their cool looking sets for longer before lesser players can solo the raid and get the same cool looking sets.

I miss soloing older raids when I had nothing else to do. Blizzard continues to cut away at the thin string keeping me here.

I mean, honestly, this isn’t that far fetched. I can’t imagine tuning an instance, a stand alone, isolated place in the game would be a difficult task. Just adjust the numbers. If player level = 70 then enemy damage multiplier = 1000% or something like that.

I really think it’s done on purpose.
