I was just put into an all tank solo shuffle. What is wrong with your match making blizzard? We get it, pvp is a mini game within the World of “Warcraft.” Your 2 wow devs dedicate all their time into balancing pve queues. But can we keep tanks out of arena? It’s a pretty simple and straight forward thought, at least you would think…
Out of six people there were 0 healers. 5 tanks and 1 dps. I was the sole dps in that lobby. As you can guess I got focus’d and died every single match. Thus losing 90 pts.
P.S. let’s not have anyone offended by my name, it’s a joke, simmer down… But not as much of a joke as allowing tanks to be in solo shuffle, let alone for them to fill a healer slot.
What likely occurred was that there were non-Protection Warriors in the lobby and the shuffle Retribution mistook Defensive Stance on his bigdebuffs and arena frames for multiple players of the Protection specialization.
I’ve hit 2.4k across multiple characters. I’m fairly aware of what is going on in arenas. When the Blizzard UI says Protection Warrior, Protection Paladin & Blood Death Knight, one must assume it is an accurate depiction of the game at hand.
There was all 3. 2 Protection Paladins filling healer rolls and the dps was 2 Protection Warriors and Blood Death Knight.
I don’t know why you’re assuming otherwise and being so confidently wrong. Link a blue post where blizzard has stated their solo shuffle only allows 1 tank? Most people don’t have as much time as you to sit forums and make posts lying all day.
That blue post also states “we will be looking closely at and actively tuning tank abilities in PvP, specifically around how they fit in Solo Shuffle.” which turned out not to be true.
It was almost certainly a warr in dstance.
